"A Dangerous Love" is a book test designed for the working mentalist.

"A Dangerous Love" is a professionally produced prop designed to look like a normal romance novel. However it contains a devastating secret that allows you to read the mind of a spectator and pluck out the word they are thinking of.

"A Dangerous Love" is available with three different covers to choose from.  (Named "A Dangerous Love", "An Intimate Betrayal" and "Sins of Passion").  All the text within the books is the same, so you can use only one book or you can combine copies of "A Dangerous Love" for effects that require the same text within different covers.  Buy all three and you can offer the spectator three "different" books for a totally "free" choice, and then perform the same effect no matter which one they choose!

With "A Dangerous Love" the spectator selects any page in the book, runs his finger down the page and selects a word. The mentalist then reveals the word. The spectator is holding the book at the time and the performer can be on the other side of the room. It looks completely impossible, the spectator will swear you can read his mind! This effect is a powerful stand alone effect, or it can be used as part of a longer routine.
